Sennofer was the mayor of Thebes in the 15th
century BCE, during the reign of Amenophis 2. This
is a very colourful tomb, with large parts in
excellent condition.
Sennofer's tomb is often called the "Tomb of
Vines", from the ceiling which is full of images
of grapes and vines.
But as with most other tombs, towards the end, the
wall paintings shift from scenes from everyday
life into matters concerning death and the
